We Draw Our Strength from Nature: Pumice Mining

At the core of our operations and quality lies the pumice mine, one of nature's most valuable gifts to the construction industry. Pumice, which has a volcanic origin, a naturally porous and ultra-lightweight structure, stands out by providing superior heat and sound insulation. While increasing earthquake safety by significantly reducing the total weight of the structures, its breathable texture allows the construction of 100% eco-friendly and ecological living spaces. We transform this unique raw material, which we carefully extract from our own mining fields and process in our advanced technology facilities, into the innovative building elements needed by modern architecture.

Within the scope of BlokBims Mining Foreign Trade activities, at the Board of Directors Meeting held in 2007, under the leadership of our Board of Directors and our Chairman of the Board, Mr. Musa Ertaş, the decision was made to open our company to international markets.

In line with this decision, the export department was established in July 2007; and the compliance of our environmentally friendly, high-insulation pumice-based TSE-certified products with CE and ISO standards was officially registered.

As a result of our export activities that started in 2007; today, country distributorships have been established primarily in Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America, and block bims and premium quality pumice products have been exported to a total of 41 different countries.

Both our export volume and the number of exported countries continue to increase steadily day by day.
